Careers in Finance Conference 2018

Designed especially for second-years and featuring presentations by industry executives with expertise across the financial spectrum, a panel of young professionals giving their perspectives from the workplace, and extensive networking opportunities, the 2018 conference helped students to understand the wide variety of financial career opportunities available and to discover which area is of special interest to them.

McIntire Finance faculty began the conference with a useful primer on finance, demystifying and defining various financial terms and exploring the job possibilities in the world of finance. The conference featured presentations by senior executives from a select group of corporate sponsors who each spoke on a designated topic, such as:
