This international conference on globalization, innovation, and technology management was hosted by the McIntire School and the Center for the Management of IT (CMIT) in Copenhagen from March 11-16, 2007 for M.S. in MIT alumni to catch up on trends in the industry and earn continuing education credits.
Synopsis
The themes of globalization, innovation, and technology management are becoming integrated in profound ways. As a result, today’s managers must assimilate new knowledge and capture an entirely new set of skills to thrive in this world. This one-week international executive program offered by the McIntire School of Commerce and the Center for the Management of Information Technology is designed to immerse participants in a week of learning and networking within one of the most exciting regions of the world for IT innovation, creativity, and design. The curriculum includes interaction with European IT professionals and leaders, site visits to the Danish Design Center, the Zentropa Movie Production Company, Carlsberg Brewery, and the IT University of Denmark, and other networking and cultural events.
