Cassandra Enyan shares her experience working for Google on projects across the African continent. Working with local partners from Ghana to South Africa to expand internet accessibility, she’s had a front-row seat to the digital revolution changing small businesses and livelihoods across Africa. She shares with Prof. Maillet some of the innovative ways local African companies are using technology - particularly digital banking and payments - and explains the continent's budding startup scene. The views and opinions expressed on the Global Commerce Exchange podcast are those of the guests and do not necessarily reflect the official policy or position of the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
