I applied to “Promo” because I loved the idea of applying what I was learning in classes to an actual client in a marketing-specific environment. Additionally, I thought that Promo would give me a unique capstone-like experience among highly motivated and creative individuals.
Relevant work experience?
I interned at MtoM Consulting during the summer of 2021, which gave me more of an agency-side experience as I focused on social media content creation for various clients. In the summer of 2022, I interned at Transamerica as a Channel Marketing Project Management Intern and got to experience more in-house marketing research and projects. And most recently, as a Brand Management Intern at Altria this past summer, I enjoyed exploring brand strategy and working with an agency to accomplish brand initiatives.
