My background is in Business Studies and Accounting. After working in the IT industry for almost a decade, I look forward to expanding my knowledge of new technologies and implementing them to advance business and social objectives.

What appealed to you the most about the M.S. in MIT Program?

The M.S. in MIT Program is so practical that I could take learning from each class and relate it to my work environment, educate others within my company, or, in many cases, implement the learning.

What are you looking forward to or have you enjoyed most so far in the M.S. in MIT Program?

One thing I like the most about the program is the effort UVA puts into bringing experts in the area for specific lecture topics. The learning I acquire from the class, class discussions, team meetings, or assignments is beneficial in improving my quality of performance at my work.

What is your favorite thing to do during residencies?

Even though the hybrid class structure was one of the items I considered during my application process, I always look forward to the onsite class. Listening live to the professors and the discussions is the best. Connecting with the M.S. in MIT cohort and talking about everything from family to work and school make us feel part of one big family.
