What inspired you to pursue graduate study in commerce, and what are your goals for the program?

The fact that the M.S. in Commerce, and specifically the biotechnology track, allow for me to learn about the intersection of life sciences and business. As someone who was Pre-Med during my undergraduate studies, my goal is to have a solid foundation in business that will support my career transition.

What courses or topics in commerce are you most excited to explore during the program?

I’m most interested in both the Strategy class and the Frontiers of Biotechnology classes.

What drew you to the M.S. in Commerce Program at UVA McIntire?

What drew me to the program was the fact that I can study at the intersection of life sciences and business. Additionally, incredibly knowledgeable professors who are engaging in the way they teach.

What are you most looking forward to as you begin the M.S. in Commerce Program?

I am looking forward to the Global Immersion Experience. I’m excited to have the opportunity to travel and gain an understanding of international business.

What extracurriculars, clubs, or activities are you hoping to get involved with during your time here?

I want to join the the powerlifting club and a case club.

What’s one place in Charlottesville (or on Grounds) you’re most excited to visit or explore?

I look forward to visiting Carter Mountain.
