What appealed to you about the M.S. in Commerce Program?
The Global Immersion Experience after the spring semester is one of the main reasons I decided to study at McIntire. I have always wanted to study abroad, and I cannot think of anything better than combining that with an application of my business knowledge in a global context.
What are you looking forward to or have you enjoyed most so far in the M.S. in Commerce Program?
I have enjoyed meeting the other students in the M.S. in Commerce Program. Everyone I have met so far brings a unique life experience to the table, and meeting people passionate about Commerce is great motivation to work hard every day.
What are your academic interests?
I am interested in learning more about Finance and Accounting principles over the course of the next few semesters.
What clubs and organizations were you involved with during undergrad?
I was a member of UVA’s club tennis team and volunteered, coaching tennis and skiing through Madison House. I also was a member of Theta Delta Chi fraternity, acting as our Alumni Chair.
What are your hobbies?
I play tennis, golf, and ski in the winter. I am a huge fan of watching new TV series, along with reading books, playing chess, and learning trivia. I am also a huge DC sports fan!
Name three places on your bucket list to travel to and why.
I would love to travel to Costa Rica, Japan, and South Africa. I am always looking to create new experiences, and these countries have been on my bucket list for travel since I was a little kid.
What is your favorite restaurant, coffee shop, or place to visit in Charlottesville?
My favorite restaurant in Charlottesville is definitely Take It Away. It has the best sandwiches on the Corner.
