What inspired you to pursue graduate study in commerce, and what are your goals for the program?

From a young age, I have always been interested in studying business, and so when I got the opportunity to pursue this in my graduate studies, I did not hesitate to take it. My goals for this program are to deepen my understanding of global markets and the strategic and systematic frameworks that drive successful business models.

What courses or topics in commerce are you most excited to explore during the program?

I am excited for the Global Immersion Experience and more of the case studies so that I can learn more valuable insights on decision-making processes in organizations.

What drew you to the M.S. in Commerce Program at UVA McIntire?

With my undergraduate degree being in a different field, I was worried that it would be a difficult transition to study business. Therefore, I was inspired to pursue my graduate education at McIntire after seeing their inclusive approach towards students with different academic backgrounds!

What are you most looking forward to as you begin the M.S. in Commerce Program?

I am looking forward to meeting new people and expanding my network by making new connections.

What extracurriculars, clubs, or activities are you hoping to get involved with during your time here?

I am hoping to play more tennis and join the cooking classes that they offer at UVA!

What’s one place in Charlottesville (or on Grounds) you’re most excited to visit or explore?

I am excited to visit Carter Mountain and Foxfield!
