What inspired you to pursue graduate study in commerce, and what are your goals for the program?

I plan to use the skills I gain during the M.S. in Commerce Program to make meaningful progress in the biotechnology industry.

What courses or topics in commerce are you most excited to explore during the program?

I am most excited to take Frontiers in Biotechnology with Professor Nikki Hastings.

What drew you to the M.S. in Commerce Program at UVA McIntire?

I wanted a program that effectively cultivates business expertise through the lens of the biotechnology industry; the Biotech Track of the M.S. in Commerce Program is exactly that.

What are you most looking forward to as you begin the M.S. in Commerce Program?

I am most looking forward to getting to know my classmates. This program’s relatively small cohort design allows for a tight-knit and collaborative student environment.

What extracurriculars, clubs, or activities are you hoping to get involved with during your time here?

I’m hoping to get involved the Grappling Club, the club tennis team, and the Student Disability Alliance.

What’s one place in Charlottesville (or on Grounds) you’re most excited to visit or explore?

I am most excited to visit Carter Mountain; the views are amazing, and the donuts are even better.
