What did you study as an undergraduate, and what prompted you to pursue graduate study in accounting?
I studied Accounting in undergrad. I pursued a master’s in Accounting in order to get enough credits to get my CPA. I also wanted to enhance my understanding of accounting and my professional skills, both of which I get at McIntire.
What are your academic interests?
I consider myself to be a math and data person, so I am interested in data analytics-type classes.
What courses are you most looking forward to in the M.S. in Accounting Program?
I am currently enjoying my Advanced Auditing and Applied Data Analytics class and my Accounting Policy class.
What do you enjoy most about the M.S. in Accounting Program?
I enjoy the people in the program. I really like how small the class is. The size makes getting to know people and create friendships so much easier and helps me enjoy the program so much more.
What is your favorite restaurant, coffee shop, or place to visit in Charlottesville?
I really like getting dinner at the Dairy Market.
