Why Promotions?

After hearing about Promo from older friends in the class, I knew that it was the perfect fit for me. As a Media Studies major, I bring a different perspective to class and have the opportunity to collaborate with and learn much from my peers. Plus, I am a competitive person, so I couldn’t resist the opportunity to win the National Student Advertising Competition!

Relevant work experience?

I have written lifestyle and real estate articles for The Scout Guide, worked in Client Relations for Louis Vuitton, and interned for Marriott on their Global Brand PR team. In addition, I have worked on and off as a hostess since I was 14.

Relevant skill set?

I am proficient in Microsoft Suite, MailChimp, Canva, social media, and Adobe Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat.

Extracurricular activities?

In school, I serve as Operations Manager for The Cavalier Daily, Marketing Chair for Pancakes for Parkinson’s, and Vice President of Internal Affairs for Kappa Kappa Gamma. Outside of school, I love to play tennis or pickleball, try new restaurants with my friends, and read books and magazines—send all your recommendations my way!

Career aspiration?

I want to start and run my own business.

Course recommendations?

Even if you are a right-brained person like me, I highly recommend taking How Things Work with Chris Neu. Professor Neu is one of the most engaging professors I have ever had, and he completely changed the way I view the world around me.

If I could live as someone else for the day, it would be ________.

Fun fact:

I want to see all Seven Wonders of the World before I’m 30. As of now, I’ve seen the Colosseum and Petra!
