Why Promotions

I love the creative process of designing advertising campaigns and making promotional materials for different brands. I believe being a part of the Promotions community will be a very cool, fun, and rewarding experience.

Relevant work experience

In summer 2021, I worked as a Marketing Assistant Intern at Huxiu.com (a Chinese new media platform), providing consulting services on product/service promotion and branding to Huxiu’s clients. I gained experience in conducting research on industry trends, the company’s competitive advantages, brand visions, etc. I was also the Junior Artistic Director of K-Edge Dance Crew and designed creative content/promotional materials to help the team present our best image to the UVA/DMV dance community.

Career aspiration

In the short term, I’d love to work in an advertising agency/consulting firm, but my life career goal is to create and manage my own brand!
