Why Promotions?

I loved the idea of combining my creative side and strategic side. As someone looking to enter the marketing and branding world, I thought Promo seemed like the perfect place to further develop my skill sets and apply them to a real-world client and competition! Above all, I love that the Promo group from the year above me seemed like a genuine community, group of friends, and something that I wanted to be apart of.

Relevant work experience?

For the past two years, I’ve worked as a Marketing Intern at Window Shop and Japhet Bates Collective, two businesses “under one roof” that specialize in art consultation, design, and antiques. I worked to coordinate the social media accounts, brand promotion, ads, and more! Both businesses are relatively small, and I was the only intern, permitting me to work closely under the founders. The experience has been extremely hands-on, and I’ve learned so much.

I hope to work in marketing and brand management in the fashion, design, or cosmetics industry. This would be the perfect combination of my personal passions and applicable skill sets.
