A recent Wall Street Journal article titled “One Year, Three Continents: New Crash Courses in Global Business” features two students—Sierra Prochna (M.S. in Global Commerce ’17) and Drake Pooley (M.S. in Global Commerce ’17)—enrolled in the McIntire School’s new M.S. in Global Commerce Program.
Some 60 M.S. in Global Commerce students will embark on a journey that includes intensive coursework, as well as studying the nuances of corporate culture, on three different continents. They’ll spend 15 weeks learning global commerce at UVA, then study at Lingnan (University) College in Guangzhou, China, for nine weeks, before heading to ESADE in Barcelona for 15 weeks.
