Fresh off of earning the title of “B-School of the Year” and a second-place ranking among the nation’s best undergraduate business programs, the McIntire School of Commerce was named to Poets&Quants For Undergrads’ list of “10 Undergraduate Business Schools to Watch in 2019.”

The business education website took note of McIntire’s top marks for student satisfaction (as evidenced by its first-place score in academic experience in Poets&Quants’ alumni survey), 98% job placement rate, and best return on investment over five years among all business schools.

With its hallmark Integrated Core Curriculum (ICE), which continually innovates and offers the agility to meet ongoing changes in employer needs, the Commerce School is positioned to “capitalize on future trends.” While Poets&Quants acknowledges that McIntire has long been considered one of the world’s top business schools, the standout two-year undergraduate program’s additional courses in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and digital innovation, coupled with its recent STEM designation and proximity to Amazon’s HQ2 in Northern Virginia, provide a wealth of opportunities for additional partnerships with the School and employment for its graduates.
