It’s a fact: McIntire alumni really do think the Comm School is the best.
As part of business education website Poets&Quants for Undergrads’ 2024 Best Business Schools ranking, 5,305 alumni representing 91 participating schools evaluated their own degrees through a survey asking about cost, career impact, faculty responsiveness, extracurricular opportunity, and more.
The result?
McIntire alums rated the Comm School higher than any of the other schools in P&Q’s most recent rankings, with an average score of 9.5 out of 10.
Major categories where the UVA undergraduate business program excelled were found in responses to core questions such as “Would you recommend your business program to a close friend, colleague, or family member interested in an undergraduate business degree?” (McIntire rating: 9.87/10) and “Evaluate how well the business program prepared you for the world of work.” (McIntire rating: 9.59/10).
The answers to the alumni surveys accounted for a third of the points determining Poets&Quants 2024 rankings, for which McIntire earned the #1 spot for offering the best academic experience and #4 overall among top undergraduate business programs in the U.S.
