McIntire’s Centennial Commemorated by Virginia General Assembly During 2022 Session

The Virginia General Assembly recently passed a resolution celebrating the UVA McIntire School of Commerce’s Centennial.

Introduced by Virginia Sen. Richard L. Saslaw, Senate Joint Resolution No. 170, “Commending the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia,” was agreed to by the Senate March 3 and by the House of Delegates March 7. In addition to recognizing the School’s 100th anniversary in 2021, the resolution underscores McIntire’s commitment to using commerce for the common good; unparalleled top-ranked undergraduate curriculum; inventive and internationally acclaimed graduate programs; important scholarly contributions and exploration of new knowledge; dedicated and resolute deans and faculty; and generous and engaged community of alumni and friends.
