As a teenager, McIntire alum Kunal Doshi (McIntire ’11) received profound advice from his ailing grandfather that would have a life-changing impact: “In the last five minutes of your life, everything flashes in front of you. Just make sure it’s worth watching.”
Making career moves that have aligned him with businesses tackling social and environmental challenges, Doshi today works as a venture capitalist investing in the technology impact sector to fund solutions to the world’s most pressing problems. To reach underserved communities, he founded Brighter Children, a for-purpose philanthropic organization that educates children worldwide.
“Philanthropic organizations have to step in where markets don’t exist,” he says in a July 27, 2018, Intralinks article. “Brighter Children provides annual scholarships and access to quality education to children who are at risk of dropping out of school.”
