Poets&Quants recently caught up with 13 master’s of management graduates about their time in several different one-year programs around the world and why they chose those programs over an MBA.
Global 3 alum Julia Schulze Bölling (M.S. in Global Commerce ’20) picked this specialized degree due to the uniqueness of the program and the chance to study on three different continents. For her, the program was a chance to immerse herself in different cultures while learning about business topics that fascinated her.
Bölling recounts some of the highlights from her time in the program, including a highly memorable farewell party with her classmates after completing their first semester of the program at UVA.
