The program began with a presentation by noted technology writer Walter Mossberg, who shared his views on contemporary trends in consumer technology and how those trends are shaping technology adoption in enterprises and society around the world. After Mr. Mossberg’s presentation, technology visionary Peter Keen and UVA CIO James Hilton provided their reflections on Mossberg’s talk while integrating their own views on the topic. The morning session was concluded with a briefing on the results of a recent survey on the consumerization of technology. After lunch, Professor Rob Austin described how successful organizations use technology to accelerate innovation, followed by Mr. Keen and Accenture CTO Jim Stogdill sharing their reflections and personal experiences on this topic.
