Center Provides ARGUS Enterprise Training

November 23, 2024

On Friday, November 22, and Saturday, November 23, over twenty UVA students from across Grounds participated in an intensive 2-day ARGUS training session at the McIntire School of Commerce, hosted by the White Ruffin Byron Center for Real Estate. The training provided step-by-step guidance on using the ARGUS Enterprise Software, a leading commercial property valuation and cash flow forecasting software trusted by CRE (commercial real estate) professionals worldwide.

Participants received copies of the ARGUS training manuals and a 6-month license for the software to aid their preparation for the certification exam, which they have six months to complete. Lunch was provided on both days, fostering an environment for collaboration and engagement among attendees. This program was a significant opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of commercial property valuation and cash flow forecasting, enhancing their readiness for careers in real estate and equipping students with hands-on experience by integrating real-world case studies into their learning.

The Center for Real Estate sponsored the training and certification for all undergraduate students. Special thanks to Brian Davis, the ARGUS Software Trainer, for his contribution in preparing our real estate students for the ARGUS Enterprise Certification.
