Center for Real Estate Open House

On Friday, August 29, the White Ruffin Byron Center for Real Estate welcomed new and returning students, faculty, and staff from across Grounds to celebrate the Center’s new home in Rouss & Robertson Halls. The open house offered a lively atmosphere filled with conversation, light refreshments, and opportunities to learn more about the Center’s programs and upcoming events. The celebration concluded with a raffle, where attendees had the chance to win UVA Real Estate swag.

In conjunction with the open house and the first week of classes, the Center shared a virtual Welcome Kit with all students interested in real estate. The kit included a career survey to gather academic backgrounds and interests, as well as an invitation to be featured in a resume book shared with UVA alumni and industry partners. It also provided details on upcoming events – including the annual Real Estate Conference and the Sanderford Speaker Series – along with information about the Real Estate Track and Minor, and ways to get involved with the Center.

The Center looks forward to welcoming even more students, alumni, and friends to the Centers of Excellence Suite, located on the 5th floor in Rouss & Robertson Halls.
