2023 Careers in Business Analytics

Careers in Business Analytics is an annual event hosted by the McIntire School’s Center for Business Analytics in partnership with Commerce Careers Services, our incredible UVA alumni, and corporate partners.

At this year’s event, nearly 200 students gathered on Friday, September 22, 2023 in Rouss & Robertson Halls to hear a plenary panel discussion on “Becoming an Analytics Translator” with Casey Fram (MS Business Analytics 2021), Chief of Staff, Office of the VP, CSP WW Sales, Lenovo, Kevin Greene (BS Commerce 1997), CEO, Redwood Software, Zane Homsi (BS Commerce 2019), Product Manger, LinkedIn, and Serena Patel (BS Engineering 2015, MS Business Analytics 2019), Data Strategist, Slalom Consulting.  The remainder of the morning was dedicated to smaller breakout discussions with 3-5 alums and corporate reps in smaller classrooms speaking to groups of 30-40 students in each.  The program culminated with a networking luncheon where UVA alums and our and corporate partners were seated at each table to host more personal conversations with just a handful UVA students.
