What impact did the “Promotions” class have on you?

Promotions exposed me to some of the most creative and innovative students throughout UVA and allowed to me to understand marketing from a completely different perspective.

What is the best part about being in the “Promotions” class?

It is one of, if not the most hands-on, real-world-like classes you’ll take at UVA. Also, you will make lifelong friends. Two guys I met through “Promo” are some of my closest friends to this day.

What is the most valuable thing you learned in this class?

How to work with a variety of extremely passionate people and respectfully agree and disagree with their ideas for the greater good of the entire class

Why should a UVA student take the “Promotions” class?

If you love marketing, specifically advertising, taking Promotions is the single best thing you can do to jump-start your career in this hyper-competitive field.

What is your favorite “Promotions” memory?

Telling each other we were going to work as hard as we possibly could and win nationals together—and then actually doing it
