Professional Speaker Series: Blackstone

The Center hosted it’s first edition of the Professional Speaker Series for students by hosting executives from the real estate team at Blackstone, including McIntire School alumnus Rob Harper and Tom Jack, on Friday, Oct. 28, 2022.

During their visit to Grounds, the Blackstone team enjoyed lunch with members of the Virginia Undergraduate Real Estate Club (VUREC) and Darden’s Real Estate Club, before heading into a packed classroom at the Commerce School to present on a recent real estate investment project and how the firm makes decisions. Lengthy Q&A and discussion followed, and students left the session enthusiastic about their experience and lessons learned from Blackstone.
