2008 Knowledge Continuum ∞ Management of IT

November 06, 2008

The inaugural Knowledge Continuum was hosted by the Center for the Management of Information Technology (CMIT) on November 6-8, 2008 at the McIntire School of Commerce, on Grounds at UVA.  This 2.5-day executive residency was designed to provide IT leaders – and in particular the alumni of the M.S. in the Management of IT (MS MIT) program – with a continuation of their academic learning experience. To this end, participants updated their knowledge in the core areas of strategy, architecture, project, and enterprise management. They explored the latest approaches to leadership, innovation, emerging technologies, and business intelligence. Learning was accomplished through case studies, research reports, exercises, interactive classroom discussions, and networking with other participants.
